A selection of items representing the close relationship between Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra, to be sold in the Tony Bennett: A Life Well-Lived auction on April 18-19.

The ring features a crowned rampant lion with three stars, the Sinatra family crest from Sicily. Frank Sinatra commissioned 12 copies of his own gold pinky ring featuring the Sinatra family crest to give to close friends and family members. The Sinatra Family gave one of these commissioned copies to Tony Bennett as a gift of thanks on the occasion of the establishment of the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, a New York City public high school founded by Bennett and his wife Susan Benedetto in Astoria, Queens.

A collection of seven books on Frank Sinatra including Sinatra: Twentieth Century Romantic signed by author Arnold Shaw to Tony Bennett; The Way you Wear Your Hat: Frank Sinatra and The Lost Art of Living by Bill Zehme, inscribed by the author to Bennett; Sinatra by Robin Douglas-Home with a handwritten note card from Charles Pinone to Bennett.

Of quartz movement, the bronze colored circular dial with luminescent hands, window for date and three white subsidiary dials, within an engraved stainless bezel and case, with cabochon sapphire crowns, joined to a brown leather strap with deployant buckle. Case measuring 38mm, 6 inches. The verso engraved, "To Tony Thanks Frank A. Sinatra."

Dial, case back and deployant signed Cartier. Verso marked Pasha de Cartier, no. 40310772.

A letter from Frank Sinatra to Tony Bennett dated April 19, 1977 and signed "Francis Albert" on personalized stationery. The effusive letter expresses what a joy it was to sing with Bennett and closes, "I love you for showing up. love you for singing your little heart out. And, one other thing. I love you."

The letter is referencing Bennett's appearance on the ABC television special that aired on April 21, 1977. Bennett performed the song "One" and he and Sinatra performed "My Kind of Town" together.
