18k gold Heraldic ring with recessed center oval top measuring 18mm x 9.5mm, approximate finger size 8, weighing 7.5 grams.

The ring features a crowned rampant lion with three stars, the Sinatra family crest from Sicily.  Frank Sinatra commissioned 12 copies of his own gold  pinky ring featuring the Sinatra family crest to give to close friends and family members.  The Sinatra Family gave one of these commissioned copies to Tony Bennett as a gift of thanks on the occasion of the establishment of the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, a New York City public high school founded by Bennett and his wife Susan Benedetto in Astoria, Queens.

Bennett was quoted in a 2011 article in The Guardian saying that he named the school after Mr. Sinatra rather than himself because:  ”He changed my life, in Life magazine, he was emphatic about saying that I was the best singer he'd ever heard. I was moderately popular then, and every so often I'd have a million-selling record, but for me it was about being good, not the most famous. [Then] he called me the best he'd heard. And since then, I sold out around the world. I thought [naming the school after him] was proper etiquette."
