MONDAY, NOVEMBER 21ST, 2022

Beverly Hills, California – (October 31st, 2022) – Julien’s Auctions, the world-record breaking auction house to the stars, will offer ‘70S ROCK ICON PORTRAITS: NEIL ZLOZOWER NFT COLLECTION AND SIGNED PRINTS, an auction event taking place online Monday, November 21st, 2022 at juliensauctions.com. Forty lots featuring one-of-one NFTs accompanying signed and original prints of Rock and Roll legends from Rock photography icon Neil Zlozower, aka Zloz, will be offered to the public for the first time.

The subject of the award-winning documentary, IN YOUR FACE-The Neil Zlozower Story, California native, photography legend and cult figure, Neil Zlozower, has captured the icons of Rock and Roll for over 50 years with his electrifying film images defining the very way people think of rock stars. Splashed on the covers and pages of magazines from Rolling Stone, Guitar Player, Metal Hammer, Guitar World, Drum to Playboy, Zloz has photographed the Mount Rushmore of Rock giants–Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Guns N’ Roses, Van Halen, KISS, the Rolling Stones, Mötley Crüe and more.

The ‘70s Rock Icon Portraits collection consists of 40 utility-enabled digital portraits from the prolific rock ‘n roll photographer, Neil Zlozower. Each lot features a digital version of an iconic ‘70s photograph as an exclusive 1-of-1 NFT minted on the Polygon blockchain. Utilities include a signed 8” x 10” print of the photograph and access to join Zloz on a virtual tour of his digital gallery experience.

These portraits of his subjects are each unique to the rock star, who saw Zloz as “one of the band.” Not only has his ardent lens immortalized their wild and “larger than life” personas and the era during which they were taken but Zloz’s photos also give some insight into his intimate friendships with rock music’s behemoths.

Each lot will include:

A digital version of the photograph as an exclusive 1-of-1 NFT minted on the Polygon blockchain. The item is brought to life in an even more personal way through Zloz’s exclusive audio narration, which is minted as part of this NFT. An NFT is a unique and non-interchangeable unit of data stored on the blockchain.

All winning bidders can join Zloz in this virtual hangout created by Spatial.io on Web, VR or Mobile via private invitation after the auction.
