Julien’s Auctions, the auction house to the stars, located in Beverly Hills, is bringing to auction an unprecedented collection of original art works by the incomparable Ronnie Wood.

As a member of The Rolling Stones, the band lauded by many to be the greatest rock n’ roll group of all time, Ronnie Wood has influenced generations and left an indelible mark on the history of music.

Wood expresses the same raw emotion through his graphic art as he does through his guitar playing. It can be said that his skill with a guitar pick equals his skill with a paint brush. Wood himself has been quoted as saying “I am a painter who happens to play guitar.” In fact the guitar legend’s gift for art became apparent at an early age, long before his rise to musical stardom.

Julien’s Auctions will be presenting a collection of works by Wood including erotic studies, depictions of wild animals, hand-painted electric guitars, limited edition prints, and more. Up for bid will be a custom-made Eggle electric guitar signed by members of The Rolling Stones (Est. $4,000-$6,000), a blue crayon sketch of model Patti Hansen (Est. $800-$1,000), a graphite portrait of Ronnie’s ex-wife Jo reclining (Est. $1,000-$2,000), a set of lyrics for the song “Fear for Your Future” hand-written on Rolling Stones stationary (Est. $600-$800), and much more.
