Also, The Cuckoo Bird is an example of a brood parasite. Such animals trick other animals into raising their young. They sneak their eggs into other parents' nests. Brood parasites are “basically looking for foster parents,” says Mark Hauber, a biologist and specialist in animal behavior at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
