JULIEN’S AUCTIONS IS PROUD TO PRESENT "ICONS & IDOLS: SPORTS", AN AUCTION TAKING PLACE ONLINE AT JULIEN'S LIVE ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 4TH.

Our "Icons & Idols Trilogy concludes with "Icons & Idols: Sports", the world record-breaking auction house to the stars’ highly anticipated sports event, taking place Friday, December 4th, online at www.JuliensLive.com.

Over 600 of the most highly collectible sports artifacts from the worlds of basketball, football, soccer, baseball, hockey and more will head to the auction finish line at this once in a lifetime sale of memorabilia, uniforms, medals, awards, and sports equipment.

The marquee highlight of the event is the historic rookie NBA official Chicago Bulls game jersey presented to Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player of all time, who led the Chicago Bulls to six NBA championships and won the NBA Finals Most Valuable Player award in each of those championships. Jordan held up this very jersey – his very first official NBA Chicago Bulls game jersey - at his first press conference as a member of the team with Rod Thorn announcing that they had signed Jordan as their first round draft pick with a multi-million-dollar contract. This size “44” Rawlings brand jersey is a white mesh pullover featuring “BULLS” in red with his number “23” and on the reverse side emblazoned with “JORDAN” and the number “23.”

Other highlights include: the 49ers jersey game worn by Colin Kaepernick during his rookie debut in his first NFL regular series game on October 2, 2011; a Spalding brand NBA Official Game Ball from the personal collection of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar - signed and inscribed by Abdul-Jabbar - the NBA’s all-time leading scorer and greatest Muslim athlete in American team sports history; an official Cleveland Cavaliers home jersey worn, signed, and gifted by NBA legend LeBron James during his 2003-2004 rookie season; and the high school basketball jersey worn by Barack Hussein Obama II, who later became the 44th President of the United States... as the nation’s first African-American president, Obama’s historic election into office and his two-term presidency sparked hope and change around the world and left an enduring legacy of dignity and grace during his time in the White House.
