A black and white photo of American actor Tallulah Bankhead (1902-1968) sitting on a lounge chair next to a telephone, reading a script, and smoking a cigarette. The photo is signed and inscribed by Bankhead. The inscription reads, “To Jeanie / Best Wishes / Tallulah Bankhead.”

The photo was taken circa August 1943, likely while Bankhead was in production on Alfred Hitchcock's Lifeboat (20th Century Fox, 1944).
