A black and white photo print on glassy Kodak paper; Al Pacino and Marlon Brando on the set of The Godfather (Paramount, 1972), an outstanding film even among two exemplary careers. Housed in a plastic box frame. The photo pictures Michael and Vito Corleone arm in arm, walking through the latter's garden. The photograph has been signed by both stars in the lower right quadrant – Marlon Brando in gray or slightly faded marker, and Al Pacino in black marker slightly lower. This photograph, and an accompanying story, come from the collection of journalist Larry Grobel, who knew both men well:

“Herb Yellin, the publisher of Lord John Press and a major autograph collector, had two copies of this photo signed by Marlon Brando. He made me an offer I couldn’t refuse: If I could get Al Pacino to sign them, I could have one of them. 'Not a problem,' I said. 'Not again!' Pacino said. Poor Al, I was always sticking some item in front of him during our weekly Sunday lunches at his house in Beverly Hills. He was a good sport.”
