A turquoise and silver squash blossom necklace, in the style developed by the Navajo and adopted by other Southwestern tribes including the Zuni and Hopi, worn by Raquel Welch to the June 23, 1970 New York City premiere of her film Myra Breckinridge and in one of her most iconic photos, taken during a 1970 photo shoot with celebrity photographer Terry O’Neill.
The sterling silver hollow bead necklace, set to the front with twin rows of hollow beads and accented by circular and oval-shaped cabochon turquoise squash blossom plaques, the center suspending a large horseshoe-shaped "Naja" pendant of similar design, 23.75 inches, 134.50 grams, marked "Sadie Ortiz."
Includes a black and white postcard and color photo print, signed by Welch in blue ink, both featuring Welch wearing the necklace.
